I am here just to post pictures that most of the ‘consistent’ viewers of my blog want to see. Yeah, I’ve stated it in a marquee above that I caught this certain fever taking over the Philippines right now called the ‘Sandy & Francis’ fever. Sandy aka Eunsoo (originally) played by singer-actress Kim Eugene and Francis aka Hyunwoo (originally) played by actor Ji Sung. But first let me tell you of the very first time I ever saw Eugene on television. Okay, so we have cable connection at home and thankfully, our less than 60 channels have at least one Korean channel which is ArirangTV. I don’t remember it exactly, but I think it’s in the 2^nd quarter of year 2003 that I get to watch loads of ArirangTV’s show, thanks to a dear friend and classmate JOSH. Also, I can’t remember when I really first saw Eugene but I know I saw her first in this musical show of ArirangTV called ‘Showking-M’. I remember seeing her there wearing this white dress looking so innocent and she was exquisitely beautiful. Right at that moment, she was singing the first single off her first solo album called ‘The Best’. I can honestly tell you that the moment I heard the song, I fell in love with it. I also saved a reminder on my phone to research about Eugene when I go online later that day. I also recall that the day she performed it was mentioned that it was her first time to sing it in front of the crowd. Hmmm… oh, I also included a note on my reminder to look for Unee back then. Because before Eugene sang her song, Unee was the first one to perform. So anyways, I searched for her pictures and songs but because I’m really not that familiar with her, I asked JOSH’s help. Why him? JOSH’s turf is all of Korean stuffs, mine was Taiwanese and another friend/ classmate of ours was Japanese.

Josh helped me with the songs and I downloaded the song ‘The Best’ from the old solid07 forum, back in the days when it was still free! But because I am so inlove with the song ‘The Best’ I chose not to download Eugene’s other songs and save it later because I want to be familiar with ‘The Best’ first. And so, I always watch ArirangTV’s Pops in Seoul in hopes of seeing Eugene’s video of the song and the show didn’t fail me! He-he! I love that show! I even remember that I requested ‘The Best’ on hopes of winning Eugene’s first solo album. Although I had that as my hidden agenda, I also did want to dedicate the song to my mom who is going to celebrate her birthday then. Unfortunately, it wasn’t played and I didn’t get my CD. Oh well! Much to say! Oh and also, I downloaded Eugene’s performance of ‘Chacha’ on solid07 and still have it on my racks of CDs. I just have to look for it! Lol! I have so many data CDs!

When Eugene’s series ‘Loving You’ debuted on GMA7, I watched a couple of episodes and it started the downfall of Eugene for me. I just thought although she acts really good, I just hated how boring the series and her role is. But even then I still keep a couple of pictures of her, I just can’t stand seeing her in such a role as that of in ‘Loving You.’ And so, the series ended without me knowing what happened to mostly all of it! I didn’t bother finding out what happened and since then Eugene became too silent to me. I didn’t even get to know that she already released her second album. I was, yeah, too fascinated by Lee Hyori and her ’10 minutes’ video, which is super hot!

Okay, so now, Eugene is back on my search list because of her renowned role on this super ‘kilig’ series ‘Save the Last Dance for Me’. I know I’m a bit unfair that I neglected her for almost a year but I never lost my liking for her and because of the series, I just grew to love her more. Honestly, she is my second favorite Asian actress after Rainie Yang! So that’s it, a story of me and my liking for one of the most beautiful faces in Korea, KIM EUGENE!
